65 Mile Route

We leave from Sudbury.  The two longer route pass Walden Pond and go through historic Concord and other quaint towns before rejoining the 30 mile route which heads southwest, passing thought towns like Hopkinton where the Boston Marathon begins, ending in Whitinsville in the beautiful Blackstone Valley.

65 Mile Route

Today you have an opportunity to explore the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley of south-central Massachusetts. This area has been called "The Last Green Valley" in the sprawling metropolitan Boston-to-Washington corridor. The green fields and forests confirm the surprisingly rural character of the 1,085 square-mile area defined by the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers systems and the rugged hills that surround them. Purgatory Chasm, Oxford, Charlton and Sturbridge are just a few of the picturesque place along the way.

65 Mile Route

We are now in the heart of central Massachusetts. We ride through more small towns. There are may lakes and rivers in the region and depending on which ride you do, you may have an opportunity to ride across a covered bridge before your cruising into Belchertown. And on the 65 mile ride, you can make a stop at the Hardwick Community Fair.  Originated in 1762 its the oldest fair in the country

22 Mile Add-on

Our final day will be very exciting. The routes will be slightly shorter since we will all meet for lunch in Hadley.  Still, you will be able to get up to 62 miles in if you want by adding our 22 mile loop to one of the other rides. After lunch, we'll don our commemorative t-shirts and head across the rail trail bridge over the Connecticut River and parade along Main Street in Northampton before the end of the tour.
