The Mass BikePike Tour

For 2012, its back to the Berkshires with all new routes. The tour starts and ends in Great Barrington with a route that takes up one side of the mountains and down the other with jaunts into New York and Vermont.  If you were on the tour last year, you will remember the hills.  This year, won't be as challenging, but you will have the opportunity to climb Mt, Greylock and venture up to Bennington Vt.   And you will still be able to visit the best known places in the Berkshires including Stockbridge, Williamstown Lenox, Lee and North Adams. Overnight stops will be mostly at local schools in towns along the way. Your registration includes luggage transport, most meals, camping privileges and a tour t-shirt.

  • The Mass BikePike Tour is limited to 150 riders.

  • This is a camping tour with motel and Camptel* (tent set up service) options available.

  • We offer two routes each day. The shorter route are between 25 and 45 miles and the longer routes are between 45 and 70 miles.  Riders who want to shorten their distance can use our Head Start drop-off service that allows you to start up to 20 miles into the route.

  • We provide hearty breakfasts and catered dinners each day and strive to serve the best of what is local.

  • The tour is fully supported with cues, arrows, sag vehicles, rest stops and staff.

  • Transportation to and from the start is also available.  See the Sign Up page for more information.

  • Please contact us, 7 days a week, with any questions you may have.

* Tent service is provided by Comfy Campers. . Please visit their website at (www.comfycampers.info) for all your tent service needs.

And don't forget to pre-order our new Jersey when you register.  Orders can only be taken until June 1.  Please contact bruce@massbikepike.org if you are not riding and would like to order a jersey.
